The Spanek Vertical Roaster™ — Construction
Why we build them the way we build them. . .
Roaster Construction
I've seen a lot of different types of vertical roasters. What are the differences?
Why are the various roasters all different in their construction and wire sizes?
Different roasters for different size birds. The six-wire roasters are fashioned specifically for game hens, the eight-wire ones for chicken and duck, and the 10-wire roasters for turkey. Our "Eiffel Tower" designs were invented to sear the bird's inner cavities, retaining the natural juices, while grease drips away. Don't be fooled by imitations! To properly achieve the moist, vertically-cooked result, you need the right type of roaster for each type of poultry.

Spanek Vertical Roasters are designed to specifically cook different size birds on different size racks. Standing up poultry on a wire coat hanger or a beer can or a funny-shaped cone is not true vertical roasting. Our designs and the materials we use are covered under various U.S. patents, copyrights and trademarks. With Spanek, you're dealing with the guaranteed original.
